Can I volunteer?

Yes! You can email us anytime at westwordsbestwords@gmail.com with the word “volunteer” in the subject line and which role(s) interests you in the body of the email. Volunteer needs are as follows:

• Registration: greeting competitors and distributing information packets

• Proctoring: handing out blank puzzles and gathering completed puzzles

• Scoring: checking completed puzzles for errors

Do I need to bring a writing implement?

Yes, please bring your own pencils and erasers. (Do not use pens.) If you are bringing pencils that require sharpening, please bring your own sharpener as well.

What are the lunch options? Can I bring my own food?

There are a number of cafes and restaurants nearby; select "Travel Information" from the top menu to view our custom map. You may bring in your own snacks, but out of respect for Netivot's kosher policy, please bring only vegetarian food onsite.

Can I ride my bike to the venue?

Yes, there is ample space for bikes inside the locked courtyard, which is not visible from the parking lot or street.

If I register but am unable to attend, can I get a refund?

Yes. If you cannot participate, email us before the event and we will refund your registration fee.
