Update (6/20): BART Service Disruption

Unfortunately, BART closures over the weekend (see announcement) will impact your ability to use public transit to get to the venue—marked on the map.

There will be no Red line service. The Orange line will not be operating between 19th Street and MacArthur stations in Oakland and a free bus will shuttle riders between the two stations, which will add additional travel time for anyone who needs to travel along that corridor (which is part of the route between San Francisco and Berkeley). It also appears that some (operating) lines will be running on a reduced schedule.

We strongly recommend using the BART Trip Planner or Google Maps to plot out your travel routes for the weekend, making sure to select the appropriate date when doing so. Please note: for some of you, a bus may be your most direct and quickest public transit option.

For those of you who are coming from other parts of the East Bay, the Yellow line is impacted as well—you can view the update from BART for how this might disrupt your trip.

Arriving by Air

Both the San Francisco (SFO) and Oakland (OAK) airports are served by the BART system and by the usual taxi and rideshare services.

Location

The tournament will be held at Congregation Netivot Shalom, at 1316 University Avenue in Berkeley, CA. The North Berkeley BART station is only about ten minutes' walk away; this may allow you to broaden your search for lodgings, since the site can be readily reached without need for a car. BART maps, schedules, and other information can be found here.
